The term Bishnupuriya is correct and the concocted name is Bishnupriya. Suppose we call Assamiya as Assami but Assami is not correct. The government of India also advised us to introduce as Bishnupuriya or Bishnupriya but not manipuri. Bishnupuriya or Bishnupriya is not manipuri. Manipuri is a different community, language belongs to Mongolian family Tibeto Burmese group which is taught in all schools and colleges in manipuri dept even in Delhi university, Machigan university, Oxford university etc manipuri dept is there. But some pseudo scholars of our community are trying to become famous to change the name of our community from Bishnupuriya or Bishnupriya to Manipuri or BM. So Bishnupuriya or Bishnupriya and Manipuri cannot be used together as BM. Both are of different community. We cannot create a new community or language name as Bengali kuki, Assamiya Naga, Gujrati Marathi, Bihari tankhul etc. A language is an international matter. Bengali language be always Bengali all over the world, like that Manipuri is also one all over the world, Punjabi is also one language all over the world. Bishnupuriya is also one language all over the world it cannot be Neither Manipuri nor BM.

Being manipuri in assam, they seem to no more eat the authentic manipuri food like chamfut, eromba, kangsoi Manipuri usually eat boiled n not so much fry. Thanks for the interesting video

Bishnupriya are not Meeteis they comes to Manipur after 17th century,, they wear Meeteis traditional dresses ,speak Manipuri and they worship Lord Krishna as Hindu (they didn't worship Great Lord Sanamahi) ,the word Bishnupriya existed in Manipur after 17th century,,,, some Bishnupriya live in Bishnipur district of Manipur and we live happily together... The people of Meeteis worship Great Lord Sanamahi as you can see in every houses of Meeteis. But you get confuse about religion of Meeteis because Meeteis people respect every Religion and Meeteis people knew that every religion emits from Sanamahism
