Mr. Piet, this is an amazing catch. Is it safe to use the Northern Line on that side of Cape Town? I live in Milnerton, I use the Southern Line regularly, trains between Cape Town and Fish Hoek are X'Trapolis Mega EMUs, the shuttle train between Fish Hoek and Simons Town are 5M2A, but I will check on Monday as I am going there soon. I want to go on the Northern Line, any service, whether it is to Malmesbury, Bellville, Wellington, even Worcester.

I really can't comment from own experience. As far as I know metro's do run up to Wellington, but the service beyond to Worcester is history. In my student days in the 60's the metros (old plankies coaches) worked up to De Doorns! That train was called "Haastige Bokkie".

Yes, because not all stops along the route have platforms, so passengers need to use the ladders below the doors.
