“An object is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it” is so true and something that I wish a lot of Aussie’s would realise when they are trying to sell on Facebook marketplace! So many people show a piece of furniture that is in their shed covered in decades of clutter and dust with a broken door or missing some thing or other. And they think that using the word “antique” makes their junk suddenly worth a lot of money!

As you welcomed us into your home, I spotted the lovely Forsythia arrangement. My sweet Grandmother's maiden name was Forsythe. My husband gifted me a Forsythia Bush and planted it in memory of her. Seeing that bit of sunshine gave me that comfy home feeling. It's always easy to settle in with a cup of tea and watch you shop and work your magic on items that have meant something to their previous owners. And now they are loved again. I notice you had RT.66 items. To Americans it is NOT just a cartoon. It became a lifeline for thousands of Dust Bowl refugees to find a better life in CA. It happened to my family. Great video this week, love to see your creative mind at work. The storage shed looks awesome. Nothing better than organizing and knowing what you have. The wash mixer thing would be cute if you removed the handle and inserted a tall candle as well. I would love to do the same as you when I retire and have more time.

I really liked those wooden brick molds. I thought they would be lovely planted up with bulbs or lettuces. The cabbage dishware looks lovely on a spring or summer table setting. Of course I was drooling over all of the transfer ware!
