To purchase any baskets the size of yours here in the United States would cost over $100 each. You are so lucky to live in an area where you can still shop second hand for a reasonable price.

I've been wanting to ask a question. Before you bring outdoor clippings indoors, do you treat/ soak them in something to prevent insects? Years ago, my kids gathered tons of pinecones, and we left them on the deck. Well, I had to call the exterminator a couple of days later due to a load of spiders in my home! I love the idea and look, but I have a bit of trepidation.

Oh Nellie that sounds awful!! We have such a temperate climate here so never too much of an insect problem. I tend to leave cuttings outside overnight but that’s it, no special treatment 😊

Love that!! Yes I have a very poor history too😂Most of the faux plants and the palm in the basket with the lid came from Homesense. The other 2 were found online from a random artificial plant company. Have a Google and check the reviews to see what you can find 💚
