now that i've watched the highlights, i don't have play the video game.
I want a physician to do a "Kill Count" video of all the Kenshin Live Action fight scenes. Dude self-imposes a "no kill" oath but literally kills a significant amount of people he fights after said oath. That guy in the dojo he bokuto scissored in the neck and head with so much force the wooden swords literally broke: homie dead, bruh. *So.Many.Kills*

@@stcwilliam5632 I'm more than happy to comment on you: You've obviously never been in a confrontation where wooden weapons were involved. I took various Filipino and Indonesian martial arts for 5 years and there were *plenty of times* where I've been hit by wooden sticks, bokuto, kicked, punched, etc...I was actually crowned by a shinai once. The other person was by no means an expert (nor do I claim to be), but a shinai will definitely put you down if you're crowned, that's not even considering a bokuto which is solid wood, (unlike the shina which is bamboo strips that are bound together). I've never been crowned by a bokuto, but I can guarantee you that if you were crowned with the flying downward strike *WITH A THIN METAL OBJECT* it will in all likelihood kill you, in real life. He struck someone with so much force across the temple using a lateral strike they literally flew to the ground. That would most likely result in a severe skull fracture and severe hemorrhaging resulting in death, even with modern medicine. I've seen the original anime in it's entirety (including the OVA's), read the manga and watched all 3 live action movies. Kenshin is hands down, one of the top 10 anime/manga created. However, I'm not an idiot and clearly capable of looking at the sequences with a realistic lens. Next, you'll be telling me "God Step" is real, as is the ultimate defense of Shishio not being able to sweat and having no feeling of pain from previously severe burns (which is actually the *exact opposite* of what happens when you have severe burns (even daylight touching your skin during the spring and summer months can cause the sensation that the affected area is being burned again). Anime is great and can have excellent moral edicts to live by; but don't disillusion yourself with "anime science". I guarantee you if I have a sakubotou and struck you with as much force as he does across the side of your neck, assuming your neck doesn't snap, you'll most likely die for suffocation before your ruptured Aorta or Jugular has relieved itself of all the blood that was passing through it into your body from internal bleeding. *Have a great day! *

Why can't you two just watch the video and not turn it into an existential debate when both have valid points and yet you can't agree. Being like water fluid and ever-changing extends to all aspects of life for any martial practitioner.

I mean technically yes, he killed dozen of people with his Sakabatou. We don't really need to train that much to kill people with a blunt piece of metal, now him with Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu? A single swing can broke a bone easily. Now a hit to the head? Yeah it's death most likely.
