@@brainnandheart they are NB but Japanese doesn't have strictly gendered third pronouns like he/she/they, so the concept of "going by a certain pronoun" is probably completely alien to them. in the song "Like Myself", Noko uses both masculine and feminine first person pronouns to talk about themselves, referring to their gender fluidity and that they're fine with both. they/them is still the safe choice when it comes to referring to NB people but saying that Noko "goes by" any pronoun isn't true and Noko does uses a voice changer with the high-pitched voice, they show it off in streams

Roro chan was a 14 year old girl who committed suicide on a livestream by jumping from a high apartment building. She regularily did livestreams where she would do various things like play piano, sing, talk, cry, she had some lewd content which popularized her, but she also did dangerous things like run into traffic and sit on high ledges. Some say she even jumped from building to building and across train tracks, whether thats true or not i dont know. Some of these livestreams still exist on youtube, though they were mostly streamed on some old streaming website, where roro became very popular. Roro also posted on social media platforms where she said some sad and cryptic things i cant quite remember, but i know a lot of them didnt make much sense. Roro was really lonely, bullied and most likely abused at home. She was definitely neglected. The stream where roro jumped off the building is here on youtube too, im not going to link it, but if you look for it you can find it (although i wouldnt reccommend it). In it Roro first shows her upper half. She has black hair and is wearing a purple hoodie but her whole face is never shown. It then switches to a shot of her kneeling on the ground, almost looking like shes praying, and then getting up and walking to her balcony where she has a white stool. Hyperventilating the whole way, she climbs onto it and sets her phone on the balcony. Most likely getting scared she picks it up and moves away from the balcony, still hyperventilating. At some point in the video she mumbles something that sounds like japanese for "im scared". After a little while she walks back to the balcony, and climbs onto the stool. A blurred shot of the dark city below is shown before she climbs up and jumps with her phone. A little yelp from roro can be heard but contrary to popular belief she never screamed. The phone landed on a balcony facing a light above, and moments later the thud of roros body hitting the ground can be heard. The rest of the video is a couple of minutes of road noises and the view of the light. The chat was in japanese so i couldnt read it if i wanted to, and google translate is far from reliable but most people say the chat was a mix of people encouraging her to jump with words such as "become a legend", "go jump" and "i bet you wont do it" and people telling her not to saying "go back to your room", "dont do it" and "become a legend another way". Other people however claim this is misinformation and that the chat was relatively empty and the few people there were commenting random chitchat with one person asking her to masturbate. As i said, i cannot prove eithers validity. This song was written to honour roro, but also every person who has taken their life or struggled with thoughts of it. Ruru is the character shown in the music video, she represents roro and all these people. Roro is the girl who made the livestreams. There is a difference between the two, incase you werent aware. This is the basic information of roro chan and the history of this song. RIP Roro Chan. Im sorry you couldnt see all these supportive comments when you were still here. Your life was so worth living, you were so worthy of love. You wont be forgotten. I promise.

If u don’t already know the rorochans story u should also search that up. RIP nakaikiaka and rorochan. The music video has English translations of the lyrics and I think many teenagers like me and maybe you (idk if ur a kid or teenager) could relate to the lyrics a lil. I hope you are reading this but I hope things are getting better for now, slowly it will take small steps for you to get relaxed trust me,we are in this pandemic together too, dont let low humans impact your life, remember there are always here for you if you ever need to speak some stuff out, suicide isnt the only way,no matter how hard it can get running away shouldnt be your option, you have life in you and people around you will feel it no matter how much they may deny it,it will effect them later, ruru had potential and a great future, its just these jealous humans around her envied her life, the regretted it later trust me, you can start looking at the optimistic side of everything as a first step it will be hard but you will feel way better later when it becomes your habit,no matter how life can hurt you,you still have your own way of thinking that no one can change and thats what is great for each person out there that no matter how bad people can be you are still special, friend maybe wont help, nor some people around you,but we ant always expect good things from this world can we?we can pull it off on our own, what you mean by "sucess" is you own choice too,you can be happy by your own ways too.......atleast these are things I always told myself when I went through a situation like yours and I hope AGAIN that its getting better now

TW: As someone who's attempted so many times and survived on the thinnest threads, this song is so good because no other song has ever portrayed the sheer chaos and mental turmoil people experience internally. It's been years now since but this song still brings me comfort in a sense. I feel heard by how the song plays, the lyrics and even though the context is dark and morbid, to have something represent how I feel at my lowest shows me I'm never truly alone. If you're feeling the same, know you're not alone. I don't know you but I will root for you all because one thing I learn is that life does get better. Not easier, not perfect but things will get better and those are the little things which help me wake up in the morning amongst how chaotic the world is.

here’s a tip for those who don’t know :) Pronouns and the pitch of your voice DO NOT equal gender! Ive seen that the singer idenfies as non-binary**, and even with a voice changer, a high pitched voice doesn’t always mean female, same with a low pitched voice not immediately meaning you are male. ** (EDIT this is not certain, i have been seeing many people state otherwise so i don’t want to be disrespectful, but it still stands- pronouns ≠ gender) Now pronouns are the same. Someone who identifies as male may use him/him pronouns, but they could also use she/her, or they/them, or both, or others! Same with someone identifying as female, non-binary, agender, etc. It’s good not to assume, but don’t be afraid of asking questions! The appearance of a person does not determine who they are, or how they identify. Only how they look, and that’s all.
