Mean az, how does the water reach the middle of the patch? Looks very wide and long. Even hawaiian puepue style has water flowing near the mounds so you know the kalo is being watered.

Yes, ours has mounds with water flowing through, but theirs the water flows under the big mound. Also, their kalo variety might need less water than ours. They do plant all different varieties even in the same patch. It was so interesting to learn.
