Definitely a treat seeing both Donna Halper and Martin Popoff on the panel/discussion. 👍👍

I know! Probably not going to find too many shows on KZbin in which all 4 are as knowledgeable as this crew. What a treat!

Came across your wonderful channel just today , the mighty GUP analysis. GUP and Signals are two in my top 5 Rush albums ever , and it is my favourite album cover ever and my favourite Rush logo. Much appreciated from a British Rush freak from the 80s onwards (and I STILL got girlfriends 🤣🤣) A very underrated album for sure , deep cuts like the analogue kid , the weapon and in my opinion, countdown. Great job ,guys , instant subscription 👍

I cut my teeth on 2112. Moving pictures is the record i listened to the most. But Signals is by far my favorite Rush Album, and my desert island record.

In 40 years of admiring this cover art I hadn’t made the connection of the red pins as hydrants, the yellow “piss” line, or the Rorschach style lettering. From the cover art to the lyrics there are so many nuggets of fascinating subtleties to appreciate.

I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who shares the same affinity for The Weapon solo. Hearing it live was a spectacular sonic experience!

I'm glad I watched this episode from top to bottom. Usually I view the Deep Dives in parts but not this time around.

Great job…I know Martin from Sea of Tranquility and The Contrarians. I always like his take as he has a broad taste in rock music. I think Donna hit it out of the park with her deep analysis of “The Weapon”.

Warren Cromartie, Ellis Valentine and Andre Dawson comprised one of the best outfields of their day.

As a Montrealer I can attest to greatness of those 80s Expos teams. BTW, Warren Cromartie is a musician too and he became good friends with Geddy.

Great deep dive guys! I learned a lot and enjoyed myself. I can't give any greater praise than that.

Did Alex play guitar on "Losing It" on the Signals album?
@EMatus10010 ай бұрын
I’m ridiculously late to this one. Here’s something very interesting about Countdown. The riff in Countdown when Geddy sings “Technology high on the leading edge of life” (2:35), is very similar to the riff in “Natural Science” at 5:08. Coincidence? Or intentional thematic tie-in? I’d love to ask them about that, and quite possibly creep them out.

I'm certain they played losing it on the CA tour here in the uk because i definitely saw it live and they didn't tour R40 here in the uk 😔

The Rush name on Signals' cover in Rorschach letters would've been perfect if the aitch had been capitalized instead of being lower case.
