Rush is by far one of the most underrated bands of all time. It’s sad how little they are spoken of. Every song they have is pure genius and is so poetic and is beautiful Sci-Fi. Geddy is the best bass player, Neil is the best drummer, and Alex is the best guitarist. Together they are truly a force to be reckoned with.

MOST AMAZING SONG, FADES OUT W AY TOO SOON !!!!!!!
@traceyrychewhite63747 жыл бұрын
This is actually my favorite RUSH song. I remember getting this on vinyl when it first came out. My Great grandma used to buy me the coolest music. She also bought my the 1st 2 Van Halen album's. The best part was that she would always love to listen to them with me. My Granny didn't use a rocking chair, she truly loved to rock! Thanks for sharing this.

Of the RUSH songs i know, this has to me the most "BEAUTIFUL" .

I have maintained for many years that someone needs to contact Alex and tell him to "finish" the outtro of this song! They could release an album of remixed songs or different recordings. We Rush fans would snap that up just like we did with Feedback. Most talented 3-man rock band ever.

DATTTAWESOMEGUY they've TALKED the last few years before R40 about having other producers remix their various songs & being they've got INDEFINITE downtime going on something next several months would be blessedly appreciated! ESPECIALLY if Rick Rubin does something 😎🤘😎💗

I have thought the same thing from the first time I heard this song, This just cries out for Alex to finish the guitar solo at the end . He just left it on the table

Who's come to slay the dragon- Come to watch him fall? Making arrows out of pointed words Giant killers, at the call Too much fuss and bother Too much contradiction And confusion Peel away the mystery Here's a clue to some real motivation -All there really is -The two of us -And we both know why we've come along -Nothing to explain -It's a part of us -To be found within a song What happened to our innocence- Did it go out of style? Along with our naïveté- No longer a child Different eyes see different things Different hearts Beat on different strings But there are times For you and me When all such things agree RIP Neil Peart 💔
@melaniesmith23279 жыл бұрын
are we all rush freaks? Rush can have meaning with every song. They can jam even when they slow the music down. I guess that we all beat on "different strings". Thanks RUSH for messing up my mind years ago...Still biggest fan.

Fantastic composition by Rush! Really delicate-toned acoustic guitar in the main theme, and Neal Peart's impeccable lyrics. Then at the final fadeout, Alex counterpoints the whole song with some really crunchy metal guitar. A lot to like in such a short song. I just wish they would do it live.

The world isn't ready for where that guitar solo was going
@johnIZaUWL8 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's strategic. Like the fade on Little Wing just when it's GETTIN GOOD! I'm stunned jimi never jammed on that for 5+ minutes lol! Still got unreleased stuff Eddie Kramer jar been remastering proper! Pardon the relevant tangent lol! At least enough to jimi currently found to do two discs a year the next 20 @ least! Prince has maybe 50X THAT being he was massively prolific & Rush not so much but that's okay EH???

Rush made an album few know about, actually it’s a collection album of Rush’s softer side that they put out right after Waves came out. I saw it at the Radio Station where I DJ d Country Music. I wasn’t a fan, I became T.G. Taylor. Howdy Ya’ll I got somethin strange here a scarin me. Somethin over by Alaskie maybe a friggin State? Wayle whudevah it has a wild bunch a dudes a com straight outta that mountainous place. I thank it’s a dubbed Swissaland, cause a cheese! Wayle I got this album called I thank its a tellin us here these dudes got 20 or so scary songs they a dubbed, “Reasons”, mebbe theayas too short or somethin. Ima play this here, called ‘different Strangs’, Wayle dog! I ain’t sho this is even a raicord, so ima playit anyhoo. Record Starts: Wayle Hayle!! That at even Cuntry!! And it a sho ain’t no scary music! Hayle, this here ain’t fo us anyhoo. It’s fer that daggum rock n roll bunch down them stairs, always a smellin funny down in they room.
