I agree Alex lifeson solos were beautiful and also elaquint and fiery.rush rules.

Alex Lifeson has never received the accolades that he so deserves. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't like this band at all. I am not a guitarist, but this man creates some beautiful sounds with the guitar.

+IwshIcldstrtover You mean you don't like Peart's fine drumming, or Lee's strong bass-playing and vocals?
@IwshIcldstrtover8 жыл бұрын
7777Scion No, I don't like Peart's (overrated) drumming, Geddy 's bass playing or vocals. In fact, I hate Lee's voice.

Neil Peart is a fine excellent technician/player. He is not 'over-rated' except by an idiot. He may not be an innovator - but he has studied and plays (or used to play in younger days) excellently.

Lifeson is a brilliant guitarist. His solo here is from another galaxy. Simply incredible on so many levels!!!

Boy, I remember staring at the inside of the 2112 album when I was real young with them in those silk kimono outfits. I listened to every song and wondered about the world out there beyond my house/school. Our world (earth) is much smaller now and much of that wonderment is gone in favor of daily life, work, global politics and self preservation. But I still wonder about the vastness of space and the topics Rush wrote about and it kinda brings me back to those early thoughts.

Reuben Kincaid - He was the manager of The Partridge Family. 'Do you know the way to Albuquerque?' - gee, I wouldn't if it's even on KZbin. Rush have Ray Danniels; the real deal McCoy. Hold the pastrami. I'll try to remember that tomorrow as it is good for sandwiches!
