Rush - Ghost Rider

So I originally wanted to put some animation in this to go along with the shots from Spore and all that. But as time went on I got lazy and never did anything. It got to the point where I said, "Forget it" and decided on finishing it in the game itself. What I did have drawn I felt was in poor quality and didn't exactly fit. So that's still on my computer, waiting to be used (it's really short, nothing special).
And as usually, I made this under "Fair Use":

When I hear this song, I can't help but think of the pain and anguish it sprang from...and I cannot stop the tears. Had what happened to Neil not happened...there would be no Ghostrider. A lot of things would have been different, no? I love this song...but am so sad because it came in the face of such sorrow.

My dad told me about Neil`s tragedy. My Uncle read the book, and once you know the reason they wrote this song, well, album, in the case, you will feel really sad for Neil.

The sound compression and LOUDness is noticable, but on the other hand, the songs themselves are good, and this one has particular significance, given it's connection to Peart's life at the time.

I got the remixed version of vapor trails in the big Rush box, from Presto to Snakes & Arrows. It sounds real good on CD. Geddy said at first he hated the Album, because it was such a bitch to master. When you listen to it, you'll know why. Personally, one of my fav Rush albums, got some Killer tracks on it : Like Earthshine, Freeze, Nocturne, Ghost Rider of course.

Reading "Ghost Rider" gave me a whole appreciation for the album "Vapor Trails" as a whole. Knowing where Neal was going through during that period in his life, and reflecting all that into the songs that became "Vapor Trails" makes that album all the better....... JUST REMASTER THE THING ALREADY! It sucks that Neal very powerful lyrics have to be conveyed through such shitty sound quality.

The album is way too LOUD. It's well known that something went wrong during the mixing process. I think there's been some talk of a remaster...I hope so. Not a bad album really, but the audio is just AWFUL.
