I like how even Jackie is impressed that he managed to break a pool cue. That is definitely one of the coolest things he's ever done. Would've been cool if they managed to keep that in the final cut. Not the breaking character part of course. But maybe they could've gave him a much more breakable one and have Lee and the other guy would be impressed too, but then the fight would continue. I think it would've been funny.

I saw this movie in theaters in the fall of 1998. I saw it with my sister and grandmother. She was 81 at the time. Because I had suggested bit and paid for it from my after highschool job she knew I liked Him Carrey at the time. She said no goofballs please. She ended up really loving the movie. She laughed and cheered. Still to this day I remember she laughed at the very end of the movie.

I think it's funny how the leads can kinda do whatever but the supporting roles / extras have to keep it together. Examples: 0:57 "keep him talking" and busts out laughing. If you listen carefully he apologizes for it just after "I'm sorry". Also 1:36: "Show me your ass?" And you can see the cops start smiling, but don't totally lose it until "y'all some gay ass cops!" Taking their cue from Tucker. Just thought it's funny how that works. Also a testament to Tucker and Jackie and how much good vibes there must have been on this set. This blooper reel is so awesome, even 20 years later.
