this was a great time for modified racing all the different body styles it was nice to see some difference and innovation shame dirt does not allow body style changes anymore

there's still quite a bit of innovation going on with the bodies. jeff hoetzler used an IMCA nose piece on his finale at the fairgrounds car, and brett hear was uing extra strut tower braces last year at oswego. also look up the modified that ran volusia last year. home built chassis totally different than anything out there and was approved by DIRTcar...
