Rush Hour on DIRT "Eckerd 300" New York State Fairgrounds Syracuse, NY 1998

DIRT Motorsports biggest event, from the New York State Fair Grounds in Syracuse, NY. One of the great races from Glenn Donnelly's DIRT Motorsports productions. The race is filled with great action and some great side pieces including a special on the late great Kenny Weld.
Original copy right was under DIRT Motorsports, but I think it is now owned by WRG, World Racing Group in Charlotte, NC.

Jesus christ Blaney had such a good car this race. I don't know if I've ever seen a modified hook up THAT good on any groove of the track.

I've tried to contact WRG in NC.. Since they should own all that stuff now. But have never been contacted back. My guess and they don't have a clue about anything before they bought the organization.

The modifieds were clocked by radar at 160mph on the straights one year. In the corners they'd slow to around 95-100mph, but on dirt 160mph entering turns 1 and 3 with that much braking is pretty nuts.
