I learned to ride in 2011 when I was 63, in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Not a big deal there but after moving to Bangkok that notion changed. Now I'm in Pattaya with all sorts of tourists who think they can handle Thai drivers (and me), as a result the local hospitals wrap up a lot of road rash. Still, not as insane as Vietnam.

Just came back from HCMC last week. I’m Filipino and I prefer this over Manila’s traffic jams. I just wish they’d have overpasses and/or underpasses for pedestrians in HCMC. Sometimes the flow of traffic does not stop or slow down it’s really scary to cross.

Overpasses work very well in Las Vegas Strip to separate pedestrian and 12 lanes of car traffic. SE Asian cities could definitely use some

Some day. I see that there is already pedestrian underpass and overpass sign yet never actually see an underpass before, nor many people use overpass. I love Singapore Overpass though. It's so good to not to use it. Some even have lot of slope and elevator or connecting to Metro and shopping mall (celementi). How cool is that!?
