16:20 Blackpool North is now electrified right? So why use diesel traction from London? What would be useful is a cross between a Pendolino and an Azuma that could do the Holyhead service. A tilting Azuma would also speed up MML services if more 125mph running were allowed.

Extra information for you: at 9:05, it was 390043 (not 390143) working the Avanti service to Glasgow Central and at 10:09, it was 170623 (not 170263) working the Cross Country service to Cambridge. When wheels lock up and skid on the rails they get flat spots, then you get that knocking sound during normal operation. If it gets too bad sometimes the bogeys need to be replaced.

Hi Kieran, there are three different diagrams One goes via Colwich Junction and stops at Nuneaton and leaves Euston at xx.09 mins past the hour Two goes via Stafford and Crewe and leaves Euston xx.29 mins past the hour Three goes via Colwich Junction and leaves Euston at xx.49 mins past the hour and calls at Rugby and then Stoke-on-Trent

I just noticed the date of this filming myself and my m8 Chris Vic-Cole was up the line at Tamworth as I myself have never been to Tamworth to do a long video or Train Spotting at that Station before. I've only been there for about 45mins to change from the low-level platform to the top-level platforms

Warrington is more of the centre point for the Royal Mail trains. Some services are diagrammed to terminate there anyway and possibly form a separate service to continue further. Considering that they may cross loaded with Warrington and Shiedimuir mail. But yes it's a thing which gets mail to the north west basically!

That 170263 was actually 170623 and the 221 with the white on it is 221101 as that white from the new Virgin livery gives it away, so if you see a 222/1 with the white on it instead of the grey, it is always 221101.
