I have been meaning to watch this one since I had watched all of your other videos. Whilst it was a rush job it was a professional product and a just a lot of fun to watch. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Thomas, I’m happy that even the earliest efforts are holding up well enough to make nearly a completely watchable catalog:)

Came back to re-watch this one to see the copper hood again😃. I used to use one of those RIGID TRISTANDS with the chain vice (decades ago), a really good tool. But I was curious to see if they still made them today. Was pleased to see they do, but you'd need deep pockets to buy a new one! Even the price of a replacement chain for the vise made me and my wallet cringe 💰💰💰

Awesome! they are the handiest tool sometimes. I'm afraid to look and see what they go for now new but I got that one used years and years ago. I'd sure miss it if it dissappeared but I probably wouldn't try to replace it:-)

@@ShredPile So often today we see that many older (used) tools were manufactured to a much higher standard than new kit from the same company. Acquiring older quality tooling (at the right price) is rarely easy, but rewarding when you find them..

@@paulhammond7489 Totally agree, I do collect a few vintage tools but rarely just to display prefering rather to use them as there really is a difference and its always neat to repair something with a tool from the same era.

Before the container shed build ?? 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧

Yup, just some work-work during the summer. The containers just capped off a long spring and summer of home projects and there's more than a few other things that happened along the way:-)
