It's apparent to me that one of these dudes is a born "on air personality". RIP El Rushbo. You were really something.

It is very strange knowing Rush is gone and won't ever be back. The "big voice" is silent now and the "talent on loan from God" has sadly been recalled. Rush is sorely missed and has left some huge shoes to fill.

This is almost 20 years old yet Rush still lays out the same premise. He is there to entertain and people like that. Air America failed because it just wanted to be oppisite of conservative radio. The best thing he ever said was why he is successful--that as a DJ you have to make people listen besides by playing records which anyone can do. Probably why he developed such a magnetic personality.

Products of that hot mess Air America include Al Franken, Rachel Maddow and Stephanie Miller. One of them is a failed U.S. Senator and the other is a blowhard cable TV host that Christians on BOTH the left & right really dislike.

This is 1988, so it must be December of 1988 because it was just before his Jan 12 birthday. He was only on NY radio only a few months at this point and already his show was taking off. His local show was 10 am to 12 noon WABC only. Then he did the national show from 12 noon to 2 pm, and that was not on WABC.

@123rockfan
@123rockfan 3 жыл бұрын
@@ashton564 have to admit, my comment was an exaggeration, in an interview Rush Limbaugh bragged about how his callers are usually rich republicans. He just sounded really elitist and out of touch. Jesus wasn’t exactly fond of the rich. Which is why I made my original comment. So my comment is not “two scoops of stupid”. Still has a grain of truth.

@@middlefinger1565 Lol “shove it bub”. Haven’t heard that one in a while. He may have been sarcastic I guess. But he’s said so many other dumb things it’s hard to count. And it’s funny how my comment made a good point about the philosophy of Jesus and you completely were triggered by that. It’s like conservatives actually don’t like the real teachings of Jesus
