@HardRockMaster75773 жыл бұрын
I can live without the high notes. I've rarely loved a song solely because the singer sung "high notes." I saw Zeppelin before and after 1972. I never cried that Robert couldn't hit the high notes. But others cry and bemoan that. Their loss. Zeppelin was one of the best bands to experience live.
@SonicGlitchmaster13 жыл бұрын
I don’t know why people think that range lasts forever. Your voice really has limitations as you age, especially high notes like that. You can tell Geddy is a talented singer because he’s able to work around his limitations and still nail it every time. That’s the part that makes them so awesome

But was living in upstate New York and they performed 45 mins away from where i lived at the time. Old co workers had tickets to a show but i missed the phone call that they had tickets and wanted me to go with them. Im finally able to call them back and they had to bring along one of our other co workers, who wasnt even a rush fan and nearly got them kicked out the venue rush was performing at. Smh till this day i think about it. For the life of me i cant even remember why i missed the call that would of ended up being a life changing experience that was much needed cause was going through some life issues. The memories this song brings with several other songs of working with an old friend of mine hanging drywall in new houses listening to radio. This was one of the many classic rock songs played during those days. Unfortunately the friend I had so many good memories with is no longer with us. He passed away at young age of a sudden heart attack.

I'm so glad I came of age in the 70's and this is the quality of music that defined that era.

Rush was such a musical partnership…a true team. It’s amazing 3 guys could pump out so much sound. So skilled and such a beautiful thing to experience.

I couldn't imagine being front and center watching this live. I'd go crosseyed trying to keep up. There's so much going on. And for them all to be so in sync. Truly they belong in the hof

1999 was the last time I saw RUSH live due to a TBI I was no longer able to enjoy concerts , ball games , live bar music etc. 1981 was my first concert they played the Boston Garden it was such an out of this world experience in sound , and would continued at each and every concert I saw.

I've always loved Rush. I've always loved Neil Peart's cymbal sound. He really had a well tuned kit and his playing style is timeless. RIP
