Great reaction as usual, you really "get it" from Rush! This video is from 1984, so, "Totally 80's!!.." A bit cheesy, but fun! You MUST react to "Xanadu" from, "Exit Stage Left LIVE" 1981. You will LOVE it!

Loving your Rush journey Honi! Geddy’s bass line is so awesome in this one. You’re always going to get something different depending on the decade the song came out. These guys had 19 albums over 40 years and worked hard to push themselves musically. They always incorporated the latest trends in music, but always with the distinctive Rush sound. Give the son Between the Wheels a try - it’s from the same album and has some haunting keyboards in it. Cheers!

Awesome deep cut. I'll bet a lot of aspiring bass players cut their teeth on this song. I really do love watching you discover Rush. Welcome to the family!

Classic reaction! Love it! I always saw this song as a metaphor for the HUMAN Experience. I listened before I watched and found we are all a kind of organic robot. We become self aware at some point. We also turn to what we believe is the center in times of crisis. Mother of ALL Machines. Neil was reading SCI-FI. Much luv to ALL!

1001001 = The letter I and is reference author Ayn Rand… "I," and the letter "I" was significant to the plot of Ayn Rand's book Anthem, and Neil Peart read lots of Ayn Rand, therefore "The Body Electric" is a reference to Anthem. Anthem is a song by Rush off the Fly By Night album

Can you please react to Neil Peart ( Rush ) drum solo Live in Frankfurt reaction Please 😊

The video is only loosely representative of what Neil was trying to say with the lyrics, but it is evocative. More interesting to me are the amazing guitar solo the propulsive drum beats and fills and driving bass lines. Would love to hear you comment more on the music after hearing these, after all, it’s part of what makes Rush special. Thanks.
