Hello. I'm Neil Pert. I manage a Denny's restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio. I don't play any musical instruments, but I do enjoy the music of Abba, the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac.

I started listening to Rush in 1974. Fly by Night started me going down the rabbit hole I’m 64 years old and I’m still a fan. Got to meet Geddy and Alex once they were so nice and down to earth. They made me a better guitarist and bassist

Rush's first album came out while I was in high school. Instant fan. And over the decades my respect and admiration for their talents, and love of their music, has only grown. 🇨🇦 🤗

John Rutsy was the first drummer for Rush in 1968. Neil joined in '74. Please don't forget the original trio and Niel just added to the awesomeness.

0:25 Bruh you couldn't even spell the names right smh. I could understand maybe not having the "A" in Peart. Which you also pronounce wrong. But that AND also Getty instead of Geddy.. I can tell you did this for a quick video and probably don't actually care about the music.

To hate RATM even more the fact Morello pushed for a band to get into the hall of fame reiterates how his ‘anti corporate’ stance is phony. Rush is my favorite band but I will not stand by the RRHOF or Rolling Stone Magazine. Just to corporate and biased.

To be real, they played with tracks far too much, that sound from only 3 was not all live, as with most modern bands and it is just not right. Love RUSH, but 3 making all that sound? nope

Do not misunderstand me, they rock, they pull a sound and a half, but there are way too many harmonies and extra sounds on all the modern live stuff, sadly we never know how much is actually live. @@dandiehm8414

C'mon, The majority of their songs don't have the least track. Lots of them are boosted with the use of foot pedals which is considered a musical instrument much like a piano or organ where Geddy is a master at while singing and playing the base which is a chore in itself. Where have you seen any other musician doing the same. Alex also used foot pedals while playing the guitar and Neil was using a plethora of orchestral instruments, even tubular bells which had quite an impact in a few of their songs along with enough drums and cymbals for a whole brigade with the ease of a master . Yes, some or their songs used tracks but it was certainly not the norm. I'm not sure you know much of anything about Rush and probably of the bands of their era. As for the ''most modern bands'' you mention, ALL of them are really NOTHING compared with the bands of the sixties and seventies and even the eighties.
