Love watching the joy on the faces of people like yourselves seeing these performances for the 1st time. This tour was superb augmented by the string ensemble in the 2nd half of the set. Rush's instrumentals were a great way for the guys to show off a bit, as well as giving Geddy's voice a rest. Great review as always 🙏

Love watching your reactions. I think it breathes life into some of your older audiences. We see our faces on you, 30 or more years ago. I think you will enjoy digger deeper into the Rush "rabbit hole." I would recommend, (forgive me if I mention something you have already listened to), Xanadu (1981 live), Limelight, 2112, Subdivisions, La Villa Stangiato, The necromancer, Cygnus X-1, Bytor and the Snowdog, Between the Wheels, and (flipping a coin), the Available Light. Tomorrow, I may suggest 10 different songs. This band was/is timeless, talented, modest, hard-working, and unforgettable. In my 62 years, I have never seen anything like them...

Amazing musicianship!!! I believe the last part of the drum solo Neil is doing a piece where every limb in doing something different!🤯 More Rush please and you two are adorable!

I’m 56 today and as a 40+ year fan of Rush and as a former drummer I must say thanks for the birthday present.😂🔥🤘🏻

OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! Love this instrumental by Rush. The drum segment by Neil (Rest In Power, Neil) is magnificent, but the wall of sound produced by just three instruments is mind boggling. 🤯 (Have I mentioned that you two are phenomenal??) 😀😀

Funny. I've been into Rush for 45 years. Never saw this version! Funny part... I had the exact same smirk as you guys did throughout the whole song! Love your re-action!

I really like how both of you really appreciate the music of Rush. It is an honest reaction that you give. And your strong and loving relationship with each other is so evident.

The Rush instrumentals are always showcases of their musicianship and compositional skills. Never disappointed me when they did any of these live, and with inserting that mini drum solo was perfectly suited for the band and shows overall tempo and progression. Love y’all’s reactions and discussions, keep them going please and thank you.🤘🖖✌️🎸🥁🎹🥇🇨🇦🎼

For the most part Neil will incorporate a drum solo into the instrumental from that album's tour. The instrumental "Leave that Thing Alone" is also amazing to watch live. In fact every instrumental I've ever seen by Rush is like eye candy to watch live. The musicianship is just off the charts.

This performance is so underrated . The typical Rush fans would prefer a reaction to Time Stand Still instead of this all time top 5 performance in Rush history.
@MrDuneedon Жыл бұрын
That's...a rather strange generalization of a "typical" Rush fan. Most Rush fans I know (me included) very much love both songs.

@@MrDuneedon look at the number of reactions to Time stand still in comparison to Where’s my thing, then you’ll know why I said that. Rush fans are the worst Ambassadors to the Band.

For another great instrumental performance you might enjoy, which is related to this one, I recommend Leave That Thing Alone from the Toronto performance from their Test For Echo Tour, which leads into another drum solo. Cheers from Toronto! 🎤 🎹 🎸 🥁 🎸 🐐 🐐 🐐

You can easily do an entire series on Rush instrumentals, of which they had several. And you will find that Rush fans always focussed on their instrumentals. They are were always a musician's band. And with the multitude of albums it's hard to find out where to focus on them. Focus on the instrumentals and you will find a niche with Rush. Those songs span decades and are always very special.
