This is excellent stuff - sorry I missed that tour. Saw Rushad with Crooked Still about 2005; the guy's a bonkers genius!

Well, I guess I'm going to earn howls of outrage, but I don't think much of this video. Its a serious mismatch. Cormac Begley is one of the finest concertina players in Ireland: very skilled, and plays from the heart, and with the humility of a true musician. Rushad Eggleston is a good technician, and an unabashed exhibitionist. The collaboration just doesn't work for me - but there you go: each to his or her own. Switch over to Cormac Begley's own channel to see and hear a group of very fine musicans playing with heart and spirit and wonderful skill, in a perfect setting.

I believe this man is beyond qualified to perform with any of the greatest players and of any caliber. your pretentious point of view is insignificant.

I agree that they fit together because they sound good and Cormac must have agreed to it anyway

… and that doesn’t seem to be the opinion of the spectators who hurt their hands from applauding and their vocal cords from cheering the musicians. However it is true that the first part may seem inappropriate but the second largely compensates. In my humble opinion.
