Ovarian cancer came up and it reminded me of this video. Ladies, please be mindful that ovarian cancer is a thing. Ovarian cysts are veryyyyy common. Most of the time, if they aren’t big, doctors will say to leave them be. If they get too big, they perform surgery to avoid them from rupturing. Glad your good girl!

Hokulani Nalani Lol you’re fine! Unless it starts causes a lot of pain like it did with her, they usually aren’t a threat. I was told they are very common and lost women have them. Mine weren’t cancerous and they weren’t big enough to rupture so they’d go away on their own. I will say, if you start feeling pain, get checked.

ER nurse here, to clarify some uncertainties of the hospital/procedures: 1) That annoying beeping sound at around 3:50 is a ventilator/cpap/bipap/vitals machine alarm. 2) The thing they put in your throat was an endotracheal tube to keep your airway open during surgery. 3) The camera they stick in your vagina is a transvaginal ultrasound, and it's not a camera but a wand that sends high frequency sound waves to get images onto the machine. 4) They draw blood a few times throughout the day to evaluate your CBC (mainly hemoglobin since you were bleeding internally) and also CMP (your electrolytes [eg. potassium, sodium, CO2]) especially glucose since you weren't eating.

@@liiinduhhh She is very young with very little to no co-morbidities, so recovery rate is very fast. As long as the surgical sites are clear of infection/bleeding, pain is controlled, vital signs and labs are stable, she is ambulatory, then she is more than ready for discharge home.

Your Incisions won't leave a lot of scarring. My mom went through having a cyst removed and her scars aren't noticeable there the size of a penny/dime even smaller now. Hopefully you have a fast recovery Alo and take care❤️🙏🏼
