Fun fact: A milking cow with a calf STILL needs to be milked alongside the calf nursing. Cows produce too much milk and the calf can't possibly drink it all fast enough. As well as the fact that calves tend to favor one side of the utter, leaving one side drained and the other full.

So ages ago we needed sheeps wool for clothes, sheep used to shed but now in domestic sheep they cnat shed their wool, so now we shear them, but now a days we dont have as much as demand for wool, so prices in wool have dropped a lot. Just thought I'd share some knowledge as a farmer, what you said is correct, I have found sheep on mountains that can barely walk due to so much wool(not my sheep) but even a few of my sheep whi get sheared every year can still have a lottt of wool whne it comes to shearing time
