6:11 The start of this ending lick is a reference to the track "Madness" from the FNF Tricky the Clown mod. While the later two tracks in the Tricky mod are arguably more iconic, it's references to those few measures that are passed around in the FNF mod community more than others. It's also a further meta reference in that Madness was the first track used to test out Rushia's mechanics for Holofunk.

I would say madness is more iconic just because it was one of the 3 mods that really popularized the modding comunity for the game being whitty, tricky, and zardy and at the time madess was the final song of the tricky mod

Fun fact:most of the hard fnf mod don't have a good mapping which made them hard to fc even if you are really good at rhythm games. But holofunk is a mod that have good mapping in every single song(even if the song is very hard) so you can actually get fc on every song if you are good at rhythm games. Edit: good means like top 2% Edit: most > a lot

I mean that's kinda arguable, There's like plenty of popular "Hard" mods with like pretty solid charting (Tricky, Zardy, Sonic.exe), and the modding community has become more experienced in charting that you Rarely see Mid-fight masses or Old Ballistic levels of bad charting. The thing about holofunk is that it's not really trying to be "A Hard Mod", Yes there are hard songs like killer scream but for the most part the songs mostly Cater for the lesser experienced, Even as you go on with the songs there's not that big of a rise to difficulty compared to something like Dusttale which are Catering for the more experienced. Not to mention another thing what makes mods difficult Is more on the gimmicks Which plenty of mods Use.. Like if killer scream didn't have that health drain it definitely would not be as hard as it is with its charting if you're a bit experienced with rhythm games.

@@OverdriveNexus you are correct and I have played the good mod you listed there. They are very good and I enjoy playing those mod. Maybe I should have said 'a lot of' in stead of 'most'. I am not the best rhythm game player but I am pretty confident as I am top 10k in osu mania. The mapping of fnf mods are getting better and better and it is not hard to found a good mapped mod any more. However, there are still a great amount of 'not mapped well' map out there. Where good mapping mod is still not the majority.
