Testing out a new video format. Basically trying to make a more efficient version of a podcast, while showcasing some of my favourite people/content creators! Meanwhile I want the talking points to be the guests specialities/interests and less flavour of the month. Would love some feedback on it since I plan on more vids like this in the future! PAL PLEASE DO THIS FOR MORE SKILLS! Love these deep dives with people who are basically experts in specific skills or builds and have lots of experience playing the specific skills. I realize there is not an unlimited number of skills/players that you can do this with, but this would be a fucking awesome series, and I think it would show people some solid off meta choices that they can really maximize into and diversify the build population across a league. This was just awesome. MORE PLEASE. Thank you !

I really like this format and it’s awesome to see creators like Dumb0 get a bigger spotlight (not that he’s small by any means). During Affliction, I switched to his ET build after struggling a bit to find the fun with another trapper. I only half-heartedly made the switch, but I gave it another go from the start during Necropolis and it’s easily one of the best builds I’ve ever played. His POB and videos are very thorough, such that a relatively new player like myself was able to follow along easily and make my strongest character to date. I look forward to seeing how his build evolves and hopefully he cooks up some more great stuff in PoE 2!

FearlessDumb0's guides are fantastic: Both from the perspective of going over progression from leaguestart through to early mapping and then late game rich-person stuff, but also for engaging people with crafting - the step by step craft guides and small selection of project options really help for folks like myself who find PoE's crafting a bit un-approachable.

Fearlessdumb0 is great! His ET guides helped make Necropolis mildly playable for me; I was so bored I was just looking for something new to try out, and ET ended up being a ton of fun to me. I've never been a big trapper fan but some changes since the last time I tried them out might have converted me a bit.

This was a fun talk to listen to, FB's guides have so much detail and info that only someone with that much experience playing those builds would be able to provide. Personally not a trap/mine gamer but some of those guides make me want to jump ship!

This was my premier build in 3.24. Can vouch for its effectiveness even without the Self Chill. This took me 40/40. Still had to pay for the "Styling on bosses" challenge, but this allowed me to beat 7/7 ubers for the very first time.

@@daedalus6433 It needs quite a bit of adjustments because of the endurance charge/warcry changes. It was pretty dependent on Enduring Cry for majority of its regen because I can't fit a Rational Doctrine (I'll lose CB immunity).

I played traps for the 1st time when ggg reworked beyond and loved it from minute one. I love the throw dash throw behind rinse repeat rhythm of the playstyle.

Used to play LS ice trap, 4 voidstones clean smooth, did believe on you and feardumbo so on 3.24 tried that build, hit a wall on exarch/eater, switch back to ice trap, complete voidstones, help some friends with theirs, save few divs to switch back to explo trap, and somehow the improvements wasn't relative to it invest, felts I was melting currency on thin air, anyways ended up doing hexblast mines

no but with all the nerfs you will def make more money if you do do carries, especially after the first few days

I did explosive trapper in affliction. Boss carries for KOTM and uber maven/uber elder were most of my income from the bossing side of things.

No, definitely not a requirement but if you can do it, it’s sometimes a lot of extra currency. Often you have to make a decision about the annoyance of finding people on trade 820 vs just being able to spam a boss. Sometimes there are lots of carries and it’s better to just rush a specific boss over and over. It changes from league to league depending on what’s en vogue.

You worded your question in a way that makes people tell you no. You do make profit in this game with basically everything but you will make A LOT more with carries. So if you care about progressing fast and making a lot of currency you pretty much have to do them

how to compare this build with hexblast for bossing?

I prefer Hexblast, especially early on right after A10 (level with Pyroclast mines until you get the curse on hit weapon). The best version I found was the one from Ventrua, but it's not min-maxed so I have no idea how to increase the damage after that while still keeping the tankiness. Most people go Occu with zHP but I'm not interested.

I tried fearlessdumb0s build last league and the unfortunate thing is that I am, although I am playing a whole freaking lot, not as hard and early winning as he is. So this whole 'strategy' is just not working for me as I will not be good enough early to offer services or making use of the early economy. I need like a week until I started and maxed out red maps. And there the 'late economy' is already shaping. So it did not work for me, especially as a first time bosser. But I loved this build, although I died quite a bit.
