Happy Birthday to Evelyn!! She is the cutest! glad she is feeling better. Same thing happened to my niece…she had to cut way back on dairy, cheese and sweets to help regulate. Which was hard because she loved anything with cheese and also ice cream. Sad to have the little ones in pain. You did a good job praying for peace. Blessings to you all!

My birthdays were like your children's, a big day with all the gifts. But I do see how they blow through the presents. I really like the way Jessa and Ben have the birthday week. That way each gift is a whole day's attention. If I was having kids these days, I would do the week birthday. There's still plenty on their special day from grandparents, and the cake and the candles.

Precious little blondie sweetheart with her girlie girl presents! She made short work of those gift bags-maybe she will be a whirlwind shopper one day. Or maybe a little ballerina or a fashion model! What a wonderful daddy to do her nails for her-I was reading somewhere that dads who spend time with their daughters, and tea parties, and dolls-will develop a father-daughter bond and trust where she will confide or ask for advice from him in later years. All three of your children are charming and you are great parents. Also, those little ones can spike a fever so fast (even to the point of being delirious) and scare the heck out of mom & dad! Poor baby!! I totally understand what you guys went through. My son has had constipation problems his whole life ( all 13 years) and have had x-rays because of it. He has to take laxatives but every time his stomach hurts my first thought is appendicitis.Happy Birthday sweet girl!

I’m happy she’s better! I’m a pediatric nurse and when kids get constipated it can actually cause a lot of symptoms such as the ones she showed. Another big sign is nausea & vomiting because they’re backed up so it comes up the other way.

Great job! I’ve been swimming since I was a toddler as I lived on a lake. All my kids &Grandkids are water babies as well. Makes a huge difference since I live in the Great Lake state of Michigan and everyplace in our state is within 5 miles from water. Happy birthday Evi & she’s precious!
