Beautiful boat. I just sailed that area myself around the same time. It was real hot with the wind out of the south. Enjoyed good wind and a swim at the sand bar. Oh, try letting the mast rotate more.

Thank you BA. Wind was N/NE for me for 6 days. I just don't do well with heat AND humidity - makes me tired. The mast should be rotated to be parallel with the wind - IMPORTANT: the apparent wind, not true wind. So as the boat speed increases, and apparent wind moves forward, the mast will be more parallel with the boat center line. I was primarily on the wind during my sail. And I am by myself, so not running around making everything perfect or experimenting, but good point. Thanks.

Just a little beauty! Great lines! You're a very fortunate guy to have got her, I'm assuming ready built from Mark. Too big for me anymore, prefer my 13' tri, Squirt, for my adventures on the Texas 200. But wow, what a choice trimaran my friend. Wish you many years of happy sailing on her. Cheers.

Hello Eric. Mark designed/built the boat for himself when he lived on the NE coast. He then moved to Colorado where there was no opportunity to sail. He has designed/built many other boats. He sold it to a fellow in Nevada that "loves" tri's and owns several - but then found himself in a position to sell several, advertising via Ebay. I was shopping around for small tri's with a cabin and spotted it, did my Google "research", sent emails and made phone calls - spoke with Mark, made arrangement for shipping to Ohio, and then made the purchase. I previously watched, with interest, your build videos and will follow up with viewing your new posts. While fun, the Squirt would be a challenging wet ride on Lake Erie in any decent N wind - as was the WindRider 16 I previously owned. Thank you for your kind words. Rus

@@RusinVanDyke yes, I’ll bet your waters get “big” there! Plus, Texas is warm! Thanks for response. You lucked out, one-of-a-kind. A really fine boat, nicely built and wonderfully designed.

Hi MB, I already include this information in the videos and the attached descriptions of the boat. Look through the videos under my channel. Google the builder/designer's name - Mark Gumprecht.

Beautiful boat. I never sailed but have a dream to do so. I currently live in the UK and would love to be able to sail around the UK, Spain and my home country Portugal and even the Mediterranean. Nothing like permanent live on board but the ability to live on it for a few weeks, months. And to be able to trail it. This seems a perfect boat for it. Is it high sea capable?

Hello Ricardo, I have been on vacation - Belgrade, Serbia. I would recommend you look into what other folks in your area are using for sailing in the way you intend. I would not rate my boat as high-sea capable. And while there is great design for useable space, it is quite tight inside and topsides. Probably look at at least 25 feet to get some livable space for longer periods while on board. Good luck. Rus.
