At 11.01 he us wring to say that Ranjit Singh was fiesta indigenous ruler to have a cogent frontier policy. The policy existed since prior to 600 AD where the Gupta dynasty ruled, before that the Mauryas has had Gandhara and Vaihik pradesh acting as frontier states
