Bravissimo! As an English-born citizen of the USA I find it extremely embarrassing that the only currently available You-Tube video performance of this magnificent overture by Elgar performed by an English orchestra is one played by the Hallé Youth Orchestra under Jamie Phillips. Why are performances by British orchestras so scarce? The one recorded at a London Promenade concert in 2012 by the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Sir Roger Norrington was deleted in 2017. What use are videos of past concerts if they are secreted away so that no one can enjoy them? You-Tube videos of past German, Dutch, Russian, and Czech concerts are freely available. Why are the controlling bodies of British orchestras so reluctant to allow their performances stay - or even BE - uploaded on You Tube? This seems to me to be a senseless "dog in the manger" attitude.
