The way Russ sings and worships has always drawn me even closer to Christ.There is an anointing on this man. When I saw the movie it touched me more than any movie I had ever seen in my entire life and I am in my 60's. It's an incredible testimony of restoration and God's great love. The presence of the Holy Spirit was so strong in that large theater. Many people were crying . I felt Russ was the bravest man to be so open so other's could find hope and deliverance , too. God bless this wonderful man and his lovely wife. I wish , like so many, I could thank them.

I really wanted to see this movie but I did not know that this movie was being produced. I did not know the challenges that Russ faced in his life. He is still one of my all-time favorite Christian singers. He was the first concert I ever attended in my life. Someone for my 18th birthday gave it to me as a gift. Now that I look at Russ and see the man that he is and has became he is now one of my heroes. I hope he reads this comment. His music Still touches my life. Thank you for sharing this video it means the world to me. May God continue to bless Russ Taff Ministry and may God continue to bless Mike Huckabee's ministry as well.

Saw the movie, and it was amazing! I totally understand Russ's statement about not understanding grace. I, too, grew up in church and gave my life to Jesus at an early age, but I also had that performance/perfectionism mindset because--like Russ--I had heard a "gospel" that said I'd go to hell over the slightest sin--that if I let my guard down even a little, that would surely be the moment Jesus came back and I'd be left! I was in my 30's before I finally starting comprehending grace. It took being married and having a baby before I fully realized that I would never be perfect enough to stand before God--that I would always need a Savior and that through Jesus, God's grace would fill in the gap left by my shortcomings. Thanks, Huckabee, for this interview! Thanks, Russ, for sharing your musical gifts and now your life story with us!

I m a product of a Penecostal preacher child. My childhood not like yours Russ but old time penecostal movement was a cult to me & I still carried a lot with me! I m proud of you Russ & your wife! God bless you!
