He really does deserve MVP for all he does on that Seattle team. Without him at qb I don’t think Seattle would stand a chance at most teams, he now runs the team not the defense.

MVP is Most Valuable Player. Don't give a fuck the Patriots have proved to win games without Brady. Seahawks without Wilson? 3-13 at best. He has No offensive line, No Rushing Game what so ever lead the team in rushing yards. His defense was all hurt and non existent so there goes the excuse his defense wins games. And with a better kicker then Blair Walsh the Hawls are a 11 or 12 win team. Walsh lost 3 games this year.

If I could compare RW to any athletes they would be as follows: *Jason Kidd:* He plays the game with his brain, does all of the little, subtle things that make a difference. For example, Kidd would step in front of a opponent to keep him from recovering a ball headed out of bounds off of that opponent’s teammate. Notice how RW extends his hand to advance the ball when he’s headed out of bounds. He knows how to fight for EVERY yard without putting his body at risk. *Magic Johnson:* RW has a Magic-Johnson-like flair for playmaking. He sees the field like no other QB I have ever seen. Only a trained eye can really understand the differences between RW and Patrick Mahomes, but there are some glaring differences that make RW the far better QB. Russell works like a computer, aware of every everything on the field. He feels the rush like no other, and always has his eyes downfield. Mahomes is pretty good at this, but if he was playing for the Seahawks Doug Baldwin would never have achieved the numbers that he has with Russell. I say the same for Brady and several others. RW is the only QB who could have made Baldwin the borderline star that he was - especially with that O-Line. *Michael Jordan:* This should be an obvious comparison, quite frankly. RW is the best 4th quarter QB in NFL history. He is able to heat up in the 4th like no other, and he is the definition of a finisher. Like MJ hitting last-minute shots while being triple and quadruple teamed, RW has ice water for brains and is always confident in his ability to make the most difficult thrown under pressure. On top of it, RW is Jordan-like in the way he is constantly breaking records. He’s the most efficient QB ever, and is even more efficient when the pressure is on. That’s why he has the highest of the following: 4th quarter passer rating December passer rating Passer rating - throws of 40+ yds MNF passer rating Prime-time passer rating Passer rating vs SB winning QB’s Consec. wins vs.SB-winning QB’s -10 Passer rating vs ROY candidates Passer rating vs MVP candidates Game-winning drives Those are all pressure-filled situations; you know an athlete is special when his performances improve with pressure. What other QB can say that? Brady? He’s not even close - Super Bowl comeback notwithstanding. *Muhammad Ali:* RW loves contact, as wise as he is in avoiding it. About that “fighting for every yard” I mentioned above? How many times have we seen Wilson knock a 300-pound defender upside the head to punish him for entering RW’s space? A million? That’s very Ali-like! Moreover, Ali loved to use the rope-a-dope. He’d let opponent’s punch themselves out and then open up with a flurry and beat them. You can bring Jordan into this dialogue, as well. RW’s 4th quarter exploits mirror the Ali rope-a-dope, especially where young guys like Mahomes, Wentz, Prescott, Watson, and others are concerned. They all played well against RW the first time they met, but RW schooled each of them on how to FINISH. That’s the key difference between RW and the other veterans. Unlike RW, they never put on clinics against the young guns. Is he consciously making up his mind to do this before those games? Probably. It’s clear that the other veteran stars do not. RW plays his best ball against SB winning QB’s, MVP candidates, and ROY candidates. In terms of handling pressure, Jordan, Wilson and Ali the best athletes I have ever seen, bar none.
