He handled the interview as I did as a viewer. At first, her tic we're confusing, but as it progressed, you began to piece together which were tics, and which were actual thoughts. He did a good job, just talking to her and letting the conversation go wherever it went. :)

@@johntheiss252 I had a co-worker about 15 years ago with Tourette's, no big deal. Hey, everybody has some kind of tic (no pun intended). I worked with a woman at the same place who constantly smacked her lips. Now THAT drove me round the bend.

+ninaeatworld Probably less tics. I don't think they are as bad as they were now in her normal life. If you get nervous it makes the tics worse or you get more tics than normal. It's a neurological disease and when you drink the neurons in your brains get effected. From what I understand of tourettes there is something wrong somewhere in the connection between the neurons and when you drink those connections get slower. That's also why your reaction is slower when you're drunk. Your brains can't make the connections in the nerve system as fast as it normaly can.

I loved that lady with tourettes! She was brilliant. I have a friend at school with tourettes and she's wonderful. She started ticking when she was 13, now shes nearly 16 has been fully diagnosed for a year now. But no matter what she's always so happy and funny, she's on some tablets now that reduces her ticking but she still does. Shes in the 10% that swear too so in a secondary school setting some of the things she comes out with are just amazing XD Her main ticks are whistles, clicks, saying fuck off and flipping people off. The teachers play off her and go along with her ticks, they handle it so well during lessons and most of them have to hold in there laughter when she says something dirty. She has a saying, "don't laugh at me, laugh with me". But honestly some of her ticks get me every time. For my favourites over the years we have... •I'm a flamingo bitch! •Jim'll fix it •your a slutty little quaver •become the church •live laugh cry •welcome to the creation station twats! These are all ticks she has had at lease for a week, the second one was pretty jarring for some of the teachers mind you. She has done fund raisers in are local area to raise money for tourettes awareness and im so proud of her for still getting on with life despite the difficulties shes faced!
