He nailed it when he said. "Once you've got mental health problems, they never go away. You just learn to manage them." I dont' think you ever get to that point where you're like "Oh yeh I'm better now" You just learn to figure out what helps you get through the hour, day, week, month, year. A good thing to remember is that any kind of mental health issue comes on a spectrum. What might seem like a challenge for some, may seem like a nightmare for someone else. What might seem like something you'd just cope with, can be unbearable for someone else.

What do you want to talk about man? You suffering from mental health issues? That's not a joke,as you just asked I decided to reply because like you I believe ppl like me who do suffer from said must speak honestly,and esp to others in the same boat,maybe talking here may help someone we do not know,and that would be really nice,it's needed,and Tyson has lead the way for men who are told there whole life's explicitly,and in many unspoken ways it is weak to show emotion,weakness to cry etc,this must change because I know lots are suffering in silence,or worse spoke of it to be shot down,and made to feel even more hopeless.

I've had depression for 35 years and have always felt I had to conceal it, often frightened of losing friends and at times jobs. I like to be open about depression and suicidal ideation, but it's not always possible even among people you thought would be understanding such as at my previous place of work (NHS). Having suffered from Depression, on and off, for the last 30 years, so I can totally understand what Tyson was talking about... I've been there, and I've bounced back, more than once, and I'm sure that I will be there and bounce back again, on and off, for the rest of my life, because, like a lot of things, there is no 'cure' for depression, but there ARE things that I can do, to stave it off, and guard against it, as best I can, and, over time, I've come to know my mind very well, and I've learned how to monitor it, so that a lot of the time, I can help myself. But it has taken me 30 years, to get to this stage, and so I say, to all of those people, who aren't at my stage. PLEASE, I know that its hard sometimes, to admit that something isn't right, and that you are NOT 'O.K.', but trust me, help is out there, and how you are thinking and feeling at the moment, isn't the real you. Its just a stupid chemical imbalance in your brain, that is effecting you, and you DONT deserve to feel the way that you do, so please, take courage, dig deep, because YOU are STRONGER than Depression, and you CAN fight back, and seek help, because help is literally a Doctor's visit away, and there is no shame in being ill, and getting the medicine that you need, to feel better. People with illnesses do it every day, so why not you ? =)

Depression is truly overwhelming, horrific and terrifying. I can 100% understand why some people just don't make it. Thinking of everyone suffering, hope we can all get through it 🤗🙏

Are you not planning on uploading the entire episodes anymore? I live in the Netherlands, and I can't watch it anywhere else :/
@dan57215 жыл бұрын
Femmy Hoekstra might happen once the series is over, I’m in the U.K. and the clips he posts from the episodes once they are all out are pretty much the whole show, so you aren’t really missing out if you want to watch it like that.

It's real shit when you come out and let people know about your mental health and not a single person even pretends to care. Not a single friend or family. People like Tyson give losers like me hope. Very grateful for this champ.
