+LucianoThePig Agreed. He was respectful and compassionate toward those who deserved it and critical of those who needed to be criticized. One of the people who is likely someone he looks up to in comedy is John Cleese, and he talked about the importance of humour. Approaching serious situations with humour is in no way a sign that you are not being respectful or taking the situation seriously. He believes that it is critical in serious situations for creative problem solving.

+LucianoThePig Reminded me of how Jon Stewart spoke about stuff like that. There was a bit where Stewart quoted Fred Rogers "Look for the helpers". Worth watching if you can find it.

Thank you for uploading these episodes. We in America have no show like this and I hope no one tries to copy it. The show is funny and touching. One moment you are laughing like a mad ma, the next your eyes are tearing up. It took me a while to see all the past episodes, but I am so glad I found this. Thank you Russell and keep up the amazing work.

Russell handled the topic of the Paris attacks beautifully. Reminded us that it's alright to laugh in the face of tragedy, and did it without resorting to shock humor that mocked the victims. Instead he made fun of the people who did it, since they're the ones who deserved to be mocked. Definitely respect him a lot more for handling it this way.

My favourite Good News yet. The France attacks were very tactfully and beautifully handled. I wish there were more comedians like Russell Howard. This is the only show my whole family would sit and watch together before both my sister and I moved overseas.

Russell Howard is my favorite comedian. It was Eddie Murphy since his performance on Delirious and then came Russell Howard.. he makes me laugh every time. Russell Howard is intelligent, kind, hilarious & adorable. I love your comedy and your serious side. Thank you! I was introduced to Good News a while back and have been addicted to his comedy ever since. Please never stop bringing joy to the world. Plenty of wonderful nutters to go around haha

Best Russell Howard show. That little boy at the end. Breaks your heart. Nothing has changed and it's 4.5 years later. Well, some say it's gotten worse. Trump is president and we're in the middle of a pandemic. I think I'll watch that little boy every night before I go to bed so I know I'm being protected. Thank you, Russell.

god, i love Russell. he’s such a great person - and he’s soo funny - and he’s freaking gorgeous. what am i going to do when i run out of shows to watch!! i’m rationing them as it is. i only recently started watching Russell Howard, and still my favorite parts is when he makes a joke with the word fanny. I laugh once and then again when I remember what it mean in the UK. It's a twofer :D

I had the same expiriance I was cycling down a hill doing 20mph and a stag jumped into the road at me, and started running down the road next to me, I looked over and he winked at me overtook and jumped across me into a side field, was a great moment in my life.

I really love that right at the end of the show the lights on the stage are red, white and blue in the shape of the french flag. A subtle tribute but a tribute nonetheless. Rest in peace those we have lost. May you forever live on in our hearts and minds.
