I remember when he passed away.. I cud feel the sense of loss in form of sadness on the face of my father & uncle who work in Tata Steel & had met him several times while he was in-charge. Both of them had one common thing to say that he was charismatic personality oozing positivity & charm with his smile and maintained proper balance between task & relationships, promoted sports culture in Jamshedpur.. had a major role to play in establishing the highly rated Tata Football Academy... Thank you so much for this video. I'm sure he would be doubly cheerful up there, What a man !

Great person , great visionery. He was responsible for Modernisation of Tata Steel , which started in 80's.Seved Tata Steel for more than 50 years.

Russi Mody, A doyen of the Indian Steel Industry. Next, we look forward to his disciple Firdose Vandrevala, former deputy managing director, Tata Steel. Who deserves to be the chairman of Tata Sons today. He left because of differences of opinion. I am lucky to have acquianted with Mr. Vandrewala and worked with him in a non-Tata company.

I am fortunate to have met Russi Mody twice during his tenure as chairman. And more than once after his TISCO, in Kolkata & JSR. To date, I have not seen the 2nd Russi Mody in Indian corporate.
