Ratan Tata was a Parsi - no other community has done so much for India. As they gradually trend towards extinction, we should ask ourselves, what could we as Indians have done differently to protect these precious members of society?

No one can come a close second among the global business leaders. He gave up a life in US to come.back and serve India and his family businesses, providing many, many people with jobs, education, comfortable.lives, careers, hospital treatment and food on the table. For animals too. May Sir Ratan ji rest in peace.. He needs a world class award. A Noble Prize. Indeed. While corruptions, wars, crimes and Bigotry reigns on in many places ....a trail blazer for global, business leaders. World class

Id been to have a last darshan of Mr Ratan Tata, at NCPA Mumbai, to pay my respects and trust me I was so touched by the respect and humility displayed by the staff even while managing such a huge crowd which had come to see him. Utmost respect and compassion has trickled down from the Tatas into their staffs' DNA. This behaviour is so so unlike the one displayed at Siddhivinayak where the officials/ policemen n policewomen tend to push you asking you to hurry up, while taking the darshan. Huge Huge Respect to Mr.Ratan Tata- you have shown us an honest and compassionate way of living and treating people and animals. Im deeply honoured to have a glimpse of such a humongous persona for the first n the last time ❤

India is blessed highly disciplined Parsis who have contributed far more than their share to build up their foster motherland, India. Parsis have kept their identity and separateness always. But their greatness is is their gratitude and willingness to give back far more than they take. That is why we have the Tatas, the Godrej, Shapurji Pallonji, and many other industrial families, most of whom participate in Indian economy in a quiet supportive way. Then we have greats like Ratan Tata, Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, Homi Bhabha, who were true nationalists and sons of the soil.

Ratan Tata was a Parsee. The Parsees generally are very different from the Indian people. They have extremely good work ethics, are friendly and have a lot of class which makes them stand apart from the Indian crowd. They are also better looking, which doesn’t hurt. I studied in Loyola school in Jamshedpur in the 1950s where there were a lot of Parsee students. I have very high opinion of them. Now, Ratan was more respected and loved by the people than any Prime minister of India, with the possible exception of Jawaharlal Nehru. But even that is contentious. A really great businessman has passed away. India should mourn for him. I just hope Noel will succeed. Being a Parsee I have high hopes. Rest in peace Ratan.
