If that's an Olympiad question, I'm an Olympiad. I can do it in my head, and I'm no Olympiad. K = 3/2 (obviously), and then 3/2 rotated 120 degrees both ways in the complex plane, or -sin(30) * 3/2 +/-cos(30) * 3/2i.

K = 3/2. 3/2 * 3/2 = 9/4 * 3/2 = 27/8.
