And Starbucks was a very little franchise in Russia having only a few places and mostly only in the capital, so the Starducks must have been a creative restaurant with a joke name from years ago. That's fake mixed in with reality. I live in Russia and no, we don't have Dadya Vanya or Russian Ikea. When McDonald's stopped working, in early June someone bought the franchise and rebranded it to Vkusno I Tochka, which could be translated as Tasty and that's it. It's basically exactly the same as Mc Donald's in exactly the same spots with exactly the same equipment. A few patented stuff was removed from the menu, like Big Mac and Mc flury, but it's exactly the same for the rest. Crimea stuff is not fake as far as I know and it actually exists. As for the roots of the fake it was basically a meme that used to exist even before 24 February, but it really took off, once the western companies started leaving.
