There is passport control on both sides of the border. there is no permission to videotape the customs area

@thetimekillerx I actually know a guy who did it back in the day like around year 2000 or so he jumped from Finland to Russia and claims that he went to some guard tower and he claims that all border guards there were passed out drunk lol now that part could be BS but he and his friends were caught when they returned to Finland. They made to news and everything.

What struck me, crossing over from Finland to Russia 23 years ago was the trash-free cleanliness of Finland, followed by the trash-strewn "who gives a f--k" landscape of Russia.

THE REASON RUSSIA MADE THIS LENGTH OF BORDER BETWEEN FINLAND AND RUSSIA IS QUITE SIMPLE....RUSSIA HAVE MORE SOLDIERS THAN FINLAND IN CASE OF ANOTHER WAR, SO IT WILL BE CONVENIENT FOR RUSSIAN SOLDIERS TO SPREAD ALONG THE BORDER MAKING IT DIFFICULT FOR FINNISH SOLDIERS TO SPREAD....NEED I SAY MORE. I PRAY FOR FINLAND THE GOOD THAT CAUSES NO PROBLEM TO ANYONE TO WIN IF THERE EVER WAS ANOTHER WAR ON FNLAND. GOD BLESS THEIR GOOD SOULS.
