Kind of gives me chills once you passed the border into Russia, especially given the current world situation. Has anything changed there this past year with the war going on? I had enough anxiety going from Michigan into Ontario, so can't imagine what these guys would do when they saw my US passport. Perhaps they'd just deny me entry and tell me go back to Finland. I think, in better times, Russia would be an interesting place to visit. Definitely on the "do not travel" list these days.
@kanggoo572 жыл бұрын
you need a visa anyways, so i doubt youd have any problems if youve already acquired it. Has anything changed there? well yeah people stopped going over there for cheap tobacco and people from russia stopped coming here after the regulations hit place since they no longer can come here unless its family/property reasons. its still pretty quiet there. nothing special to be honest.
@statinskill Жыл бұрын
They would take your US passport and the look for your entry visa into the Russian Federation. If you don't have that, you can't be admitted into the RF. They will tell you to turn around and go back to Finland. Thousands of Americans travel to and from the RF every year. As long as they're not smuggling marijuana vape pens or worse things, they pass unhindered. Don't be that women's basketball league transgender who thought Russia's law somehow magically didn't apply to him/her.

3:18 So odd seeing that Stop sign in English within Russian territory.
@regular_pseudonym Жыл бұрын
We have that signs since USSR. But it is not known why they left an inscription in English. Yes, also we have signs that have the word "STOP" in Russian, but they only indicate the place of the stop at the intersection and are placed next to the stop line and looks like white rectangle.

the stop sign is actually international, just sometimes in different languages.
