I don’t like it when military analysts define some weapons as offensive and some as defensive. If a hand gun is used by a thug to rob you it is an offensive weapon, that same hand gun used by a home owner to defend from a burglar is a defensive weapon. When a nation like Ukraine is defending itself from invasion, surely all the weapons they use are defensive, and when Russia invades Ukraine all the weapons they are using are offensive. It is not the weapons themselves, but their application that defines if they are offensive or defensive.

The West already has thousands and thousands of Western mercenaries in Ukraine. The Poles alone have over 10 000 soldiers in Ukraine. Thousands of them are going back to Poland on body bags. There was an American mercenary groups called the Mozart group. They were almost all wiped out and cut to pieces. All of them are being ripped apart. The Russians are killing Ukranian forces on a 10 to 1 ratio. They are showering the Ukrainian forces with 60 000 rounds of artillery every single day. That is basically being under a rain of red hot steel for the whole day The Ukrainians can barely fire 6000 artillery shells a day. This is the freaking Russian Military, man. Do you have any idea what is like to fight this country when they take a fight seriously. These people destroyed the German Wermartch and French Grand Arme at the peak of their power and brought Napoleon and Hitler down to their knees. To think there are people in the west who actually believed the Ukrainians were going to defeat the Russian army. Is beyond laughable. The estimate is that over 200 000 Ukrainian soldiers have already been killed and 400 000 are seriously wounded. And the Russians haven't even started. They have amassed an army of 700 000 soldiers, 2500 tanks, 4500 Armored personnel carriers, 1000 artillery guns, hundreds of warplanes in Belarus and Russia on the Ukrainian border. When they unleash that upon Ukraine, Ukraine will cease to exist as a state. It's really a matter of what Putin wants to do with it. He went into Ukraine with a peacemal army. He thought he could negotiate with Ukraine. When Ukraine followed the US and UK advice not to negotiate Putin mobilized his men with previous military experience. He has been retraining them and equiping them for the last 6 months and now they are ready for the big offensive. Ukraine will bleed white on its road to its destruction.

There is no indication that they will push past Ukraine. That whole narrative was constructed only to support escalating the conflict to where it is today. Russia does not want a war with NATO. 24 months to order artillery means the US department of defense takes 20 months to negotiate and write the contract to order the ammo. The US put Vampire anti drone kits in the August weapons package announcement.
