A user has made us aware of an error in a world map shown in the video at 12:55. The map of Russia cuts off part of Siberia and wrongly shows Crimea as part of Russia. One possible reason if they actually were going to do it: if they knew (or speculated) that China will invade Taiwan soon, it might be a good idea for them to time their attack for the same time when US and the rest are already busy dealing with China. America might be able to overpower China or Russia with its billion-dollar planes and orbital defense systems, but winning against a country that sustains its resistance so cheaply is nearly impossible. Some people are in big delusion about facts. Although the USA has fought many wars, its dominance of the world after the Second World War ensured relative peace. Although it may be difficult for many people to accept due to their political views, this is a fact. We have experienced a world dominated by authoritarian or fascist regimes. The name of this experience is the First and Second World Wars. These wars were our experience of a multipolar world. The USA is a peacemaking power. Even though it has fought many unjust wars, it is the source of peace. Let's do a simple thought experiment. Let's remove the USA from the world equation for a moment. I leave it to you to imagine how many countries will go to war with each other or invade their neighbors. A world dominated by the USA is always better than a world dominated by countries such as China, Russia, or Iran.

Why is nobody concerned with a combined action by China and NK? Meaning that North Korea could start a limited strike on South Korea to keep the US busy, while shortly thereafter, China goes after Taiwan. From a Chinese perspective, this might be the most promising strategy, as a war between North Korea and the US/South Korea would not directly mean war with China and none of the western allies would be willing to fully invade North Korea. They would simply be busy trying to re-establish the old border.
@ajaykumarsingh7026 ай бұрын
This is exactly why China has kept North Korea around. It has its uses in the long run.

"What if China starts WWIII" - I fail to see how this would work well especially when the US' supply/training centers around being able to fight two large scale wars at the same time. The biggest issue is how would China stop a US-China war from going nuclear and ending it a mass exchange of nuclear bombs.
@ajaykumarsingh7026 ай бұрын
@@David-kd4qr You fail to see that because you are unaware of the fact that China is the world supply chain now. Their industrial prowess dwarfs combined Western world + Russia several hundred times and their population outnumbers the West 1:3 ratio. USA knows that a direct full scale war against China will always end up in defeat of the West, that's why it is longing for regional allies to take the blunt of the war in place of Western world directly. It is also true that once taking heavy losses the USA will go nuclear to save itself. In such a scenario, China will either try to shoot down as much nukes it can and retaliate heavily with its hypersonic nuclear arsenal to end the USA quickly and hope to survive a portion of their civilization or choose to halt the war immediately and calls for a ceasefire at the current war position, defining the new borders. China will most likely choose the latter rather than a nuclear exchange.

@@snuffeldjuret the nation is strange only when considering how peace time nations are in comparison, while ignoring that the DPRK is a nation that is fully militarized. Everything that is strange is in reality perfect for military activity. An entire culture built as a military. Not imperialist in any way materially but rather a protectionist holding style political science. It is the most interesting nation in the world for me personally. I would be very happy study the people in person. They are the most similar to ancient cultures, such as Sparta & rome (rome at an early stage). Very provocative as a study of militarism of contemporary relevance.
