In this video we look at an update on the Russia Ukraine conflict and the recent events that have led some to call it an invasion. This video looks at the recent events of Putin sending in troops to the separatist controlled regions of Donetsk and Luhansk. We also look at the historical background of these regions and the Minsk Agreements that were made back in 2014 and 2015. Then we look at sanctions that have been imposed on Russia by the UK, EU, United States, and Germany to name a few. Then we look at the plan forward for Ukraine according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

I live in Russia and would like to add information. It should be noted that one of the reasons for the aggression of the Russian state is an attempt to prevent Ukraine from joining the NATO alliance. After all, no one wants to see military bases behind their fence. This is one of the most important points, which is little talked about in the West. And it is also important to say that I and my entourage do not support the military operation in Ukraine. It's heartbreaking and like a bad dream.

Considering that Ukraine government forces had bombed Russian land several times before in early February, I think the so called "invasion" can also be regarded as fighting back some how according to international law. Ukraine government is just a puppet, its puppeteer made it provoke this war in any kind of means, and obviously the puppeteer doesn't care Ukraine and near by regions' people at all. Hope the number of casualties will be minimized and the refugees can all get well settled.

you're better off getting information straight from the source, you know most ppl have access to technology nowadays plus Ukrainians can speak English so they can explain the conflict and their history to you straight from their own mouth. When you get your info from a far away country information gets lost and twisted - not always intentionally - just because people are so limited in what they can know about a situation in a foreign country. it becomes a he said, she said bs. just look up on youtube videos from Ukrainians bc this vid is missing information.

@@DonMarimo Ukrainian government is full of nazy. For example Ukrainian are taught from childhood москаляку на гилляку, it means to put Russian people on a branch. It is offensive. Also from 2014 Ukrainian government is controlled by the Europe and USA. NATO and USA place their bases too close to Russian borders. Russia told Ukraine to follow Minsk agreements and not to kill civilian people in Donbass. But what they did? They didn’t follow Minsk agreements at all 7 years and now you can see why Russia invade Ukraine. Also Russian army destroys only military equipment and do not touch civilians but Ukraine places its techniques in civilian areas also Ukraine destroys its own techniques and fool its own citizens telling them that they are winning

It's important not aknowledge the violation of the Minsk 1 and Minsk 2 agreement's. It literally gives the 2 colonies and Russia a clear and evidential reason to occupy and defend the space. Not only that Ukraine is receiving armaments for war from the US and also requesting to join nato. Ultimately to take back the 2 regions. Which is clear violation of the Minsk agreements. It's so important to learn both sides of the story. I'm sad that people are so narrow minded to not even consider the realities that things are deeper then they appear.

The video is good but they haven’t included this part in. How many innocent people from Donetsk were killed? Women, children, elderly? From UKRAINIANS! I think all the media (social as well as TV) is very manipulative. You see people everywhere re-sharing stories about big bad Putin, but why are they not showing the timeline of events with Ukraine & LPR and DPR. If you’re going to present information (especially “educational”) at least present in full. Not bits & pieces that are currently viral. (Don’t get me wrong - it is very sad that many innocent people are dying currently, but if the Ukrainians backed off from DPR & LPR they could have save many innocent lives + avoided this absurd situation)
