As a Mongolian, I truly appreciate Russia for an excellent statement and not taking one-sided approach like the U.S. and other western countries. Don't forget, until the backlash last year against Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine by the West, Russia was courting the West, was trading with the West, was making future plans for getting closer with the West and, in fact, is still more Western in it's aspirations than it has ever been with any other hemisphere.
