Russia Plans "Big Treaty" With Iran As Hardliners Slam Reformist Candidate On Ties With "Enemy" West

Tehran and Moscow have signed a major agreement for the supply of gas from Russia to Iran, according to official news agencies of the two countries. Iran’s official IRNA news agency reported that the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Russian gas transfer to Iran was signed on June 26. The landmark deal between Russia and Iran comes as Iran’s reformist presidential candidate appeared to push for stronger ties with the West. Meanwhile, President Putin discussed Russian-Iranian cooperation in a variety of areas during a phone call with Iran’s acting president Mohamad Mokhber.

What is very telling here, is that the Iranian deal with Gazprom to make it a hub for natural gas is almost identical to what Netanyahu/Israel plan with the 1 Trillion Dollar reserves recently found off the coast of Gaza. When you look at the INSTC 'International North-South Transport Corridor' through Russia-(Caspian Sea)-Iran-India.The Israeli/Western projected transport corridor alternative is IMEC. Along with Russia's emerging Northeast passageway corridor, and the BRI this is the reason for the desperate Israel/Western 3-prong war with Rus/Chi/Iran. If Iran plays things right it should eventually easily become by far the most powerful country in the Middle East. This is why it is important for Rus-Iran treaty. It may not be the same aswith the DPRK, but surely must include some sort of military security agreement. It's all about supply chains!
