The conversion rate of the ruble to the US dollar is easier to determine if you instead convert the rubles to pieces of US toilet paper first. Last I checked 1 ruble was worth about 8 piece of US toilet paper. Not a troll or a gag. I'm serious. Check the price of 1 USD and the price of a roll of toilet paper in the US, then check the price of the ruble against it.

Russia is able to sell its commodities without the Swift and other systems. The Black Sea problem should be solved in the Bosporus Strait by Turkey: In order for a Russian commodity ships to transit the Bosporus Straits and enter the Mediterranean Sea, it should be required to be paired with a Ukrainian commodity ship of about the same tonnage also leaving the Black Sea to enter the Mediterranean. If no Ukrainian ship is available to leave, the Russian ship does not move. It has to be in Russia's interest to have the Ukrainian ship to transit the Black Sea, arrive and leave. If a Ukrainian ship can’t either deliver to Turkey or reach Istanbul to go to the Mediterranean Sea due to mines, torpedoes, missiles or “space alien pirates,” the Russian ship can’t move either. Russia needs to make sure nothing happens in the Black Sea, because then they can’t get to the Mediterranean Sea. If commodities are destroyed in Ukrainian ports, then a levy will be laid on the Russian cargoes passing through the Bosporus to cover the losses. So Russia stole Ukrainian grain and now is offering some of it free to the Africans. Isn't that nice of him?

By September Lada cars are projected to be incurring a 20% increase in price due to inflation. I also read that 60-70% of Lada cars are showing up at dealerships with parts missing!
