Not really , this drones can be very useful specially to send special forces across wide rivers of frozen water very fast. or to evacuate or move soldiers over very hard and difficult swamp terrain or mined terrain. SO there is a lot of potential . They are also perfect for transporting ammo to the front line bypassing enemy kamikazy drones so in short you have no clue of their benefits. Wondering what will you say if NATO start copying Russia and do the Same in Ukraine.. for sure will be saying what an amazing idea .. LOL

It could be great for speedily evacuating wounded soldiers or delivering weapons and shells/missiles to entrenched defenders. However, it appears that as a method of transportation of commandos to and from area of engagement - it is rather dubious, - both too expensive and too unsafe. Why not just use the paragliders then? I mean if you're already thinking of World War II era "aerostats" and Helium balloons, - should fit into the paradigm just fine.

This drone can carry anything from soldiers to ammo and can fly higher than the manufactured Drones NATO provides to Ukraine for them to assembly. So effectively allows Russia to get deep into the enemy territory bypassing easily kamikazi Drones and mine field.. Something tanks and armor can't do.

THis is a cheap solution , A jet pack would be much more expensive and less sustainable economic wise. And impossible to repair in the battlefield. With this drone you can transport Troops ,Ammo or carry heavy missiles and bypass Wide Rivers with frozen water easily , swamp terrain and mine fields.
