Norwegian ships have a very good reputations for rescuing at sea. However, in this particular situation or conflict they are also at a very high risk for being retaliated with far reaching consequences from both the Norwegian government; Ukraine and other engaged states and persons. This include but is not limited to the shipping company; the ship itself; its crew and families. This should certainly never has been a question in saving seamen in distress, - but as we see how Ukainian retaliation groups are working, this certainly gives a ship's captain a very difficult task to handle.
